Yes — while recording and following a hike, tap the small stopwatch icon in the live stats bar to reveal more details, including “Remaining time” to the end of the route. You can also use the Measurement Tool (map Options) — note that when viewing a route it measures along the route (points snap to the track); to measure between any two points, use it from the main map tab.
