Every hike and recording on HiiKER can be previewed as a cinematic 3D fly-through — and recordings can be turned into a short video you can share.
To view a 3D flyover:
- Open any hike on HiiKER
- Tap the 3D flyover button
- You can adjust speed, switch map styles and view stats.
Create a shareable flyover of a recording
- On any recording page, click 3D Flyover.
- The camera flies the route over 3D terrain, with live distance, elevation and gradient shown along the way.
- To create a shareable video, tap the “Share” button.
- Select the format (Landscape or Portrait)
- The video will then begin to process (Can take a few minutes). If you leave this page we’ll send you a notification once it’s done.
- Once complete you can share directly with socials, or download the video to your device.
From the share flow on your own (or any public) h recordings you can render the flyover as a short MP4 video — choose the aspect ratio (portrait for social, landscape for YouTube) and speed. Finished videos are saved under My Flyovers in your profile, ready to download or share.
💡 Top tip: You can preview any route in a 3D flyover, but only download and share recordings specifically.
