Clear HiiKER’s cached data from App Settings > Manage storage. Clear trail data, media or elevation data separately; your offline maps, recordings and planned hikes are never removed.

Record a hike in the HiiKER app: tap Start on the Record tab, or choose a guide route to follow. Pause, finish and save, import recordings from a watch or another app, and where to find guides for moving from other apps.

Tap Maps on any map to switch maps. Standard, Satellite and Parks are free; Hiking+, National+, Historical+ and Lidar are the PRO+ map collections. Plus which collection has OS, Harvey, EastWest, IGN, USGS, Tasmaps and more, and how to download a map for offline use.

The search bar on the Home page searches everything: HiiKER hikes, community hikes and recordings, places, coordinates, POIs, your own hikes, recordings, lists, print maps and waypoints, plus app shortcuts. Tap a place, coordinate or POI result and the map jumps straight there. The Search tab is the map-based way to browse hikes in an area with filters.
